You can also take a screenshot of a suspicious message and use "Check a Screenshot" instead.

Yes. ai'd can speak its answers aloud so you don't have to read small text on the screen. You can turn this on or off in Settings, and choose the voice and speed that feels most comfortable.

Trusted Contacts are the people you trust most — family members, close friends, or a caregiver. You can add them in the app and reach them with one tap from the Contacts screen whenever something doesn't feel right.

Go to Settings and tap "Manage Trusted Contacts." From there you can add a name, relationship, phone number, and even a photo for each person. Tap a contact to edit or update their details at any time.

Yes. Tap "Ask Anything" on the home screen and speak your question. ai'd will listen and respond in plain, easy-to-understand language — and can read the answer back to you if you have voice enabled.

Yes. ai'd does not collect or store your personal data. Your name, contacts, and settings are saved only on your device. Messages and photos you submit for analysis are sent to our AI service to generate a response and are not retained afterward.

No. ai'd only sees content you deliberately share with it by typing, pasting, or taking a photo. It does not read your messages, emails, or phone contacts in the background.

No. ai'd cannot send messages or make calls automatically. When you tap Call or Text on a Trusted Contact, it opens your phone's built-in dialler or Messages app — you are always in control.

Download ai'd from the App Store on their iPhone. Open it and walk through the short setup — enter their first name, add yourself and other close family members as Trusted Contacts, and choose a voice they find comfortable. The whole setup takes about five minutes.
